kyle farmer | teaching elder
Meet Kyle Farmer: Teaching Elder of Lux Fellowship! Kyle has his Bachelor’s degree from Shorter University and his Master’s of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Kyle is passionate about preaching and teaching the Gospel, and echoes Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 9:16: “Woe is me if I do not preach the Gospel!” As Teaching Elder of Lux Fellowship, Kyle emphasizes Lux’s key focuses in his leadership: gospel centrality, simplistic worship, expositional preaching, and a missional lifestyle.
Kyle is a personal trainer and avid weightlifter and can almost always be found in the gym or training for jiu jitsu! Kyle is married to Kasey Farmer, who is a local Tennessee attorney. Kyle and Kasey live in Rock Spring, Georgia, with their mini dachshund, Dietrich. They love doing ministry together and are so excited about the future of Lux Fellowship. In their free time, they love reading, writing, traveling, and watching movies.
